LinkedIn Puzzle Stats
What the daily LinkedIn puzzles look like when you count them: how much harder Zip gets through the week, how big Wend boards are, and which kinds of answers Pinpoint uses. Every number is worked out from the puzzles on this site and updated each day.
Zip by day of the week
| Day | Puzzles | Board size | Typical solver tries | Range |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Monday | 3 | 6×6 | 109 | 45–821 |
| Tuesday | 3 | 6×6 | 128 | 76–223 |
| Wednesday | 3 | 7×7 / 6×6 | 211 | 56–290 |
| Thursday | 3 | 6×6 / 7×7 | 582 | 87–1,230 |
| Friday | 3 | 8×8 / 6×6 / 7×7 | 918 | 171–1,754 |
| Saturday | 2 | 7×7 | 1,537 | 248–2,826 |
| Sunday | 3 | 8×8 / 7×7 | 1,645 | 567–2,485 |
“Solver tries” is how many dead ends our solver backs out of before it has proved the path is the only one. It follows how tricky a board is, not how long a person takes. Typical = the median. 20 puzzles, #580 to #599 (Oct 18, 2026 to Nov 6, 2026).
Most walls and many numbers aren't needed. On the 8 boards with walls, 66 of the 86 walls (77%) could each be taken away on its own and the board would still have exactly one path. 91 of the 212 numbers (43%) are the same: drop one, count the later ones down by one, and the path is still the only one. That holds one at a time, not for all of them together.

Queens, Tango and Patches: we started measuring them on Nov 4, 2026. Their tables appear here once every day of the week has a few boards.
How we count
- Each puzzle is the one LinkedIn published that day, read and checked by our solver before it goes on this site.
- Days are LinkedIn's puzzle days (US Pacific time). “Typical” means the median, so one odd board doesn't pull it.
- A sentence about a day of the week only appears once every day has at least 3 puzzles and the pattern still holds; until then you see the table alone.
- These are our own counts, not LinkedIn's. This site is not affiliated with LinkedIn.
