Tango Solver
Tango Solver reads a screenshot of LinkedIn Tango and fills in every sun and moon, free and with no login: paste or drop the whole screenshot, check the grid we read, then see the full answer or just the next cell with the reason.
Paste a screenshot (Ctrl+V or ⌘V), drop it here, or
Read on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
Why use this solver
- Paste the whole screenshot. No cropping: a screenshot of Tango from the phone app works, in light or dark mode.
- Check what we read. We redraw the board before solving. A cell we're unsure of is marked, and you can tap it to fix it.
- Two answer pictures. A clean board in the game's colours, and the suns and moons drawn straight onto your own screenshot. Save either one.
- Or only the next step. Get one move at a time, with the reason, starting from where you are. If one of your moves is wrong, it says so first.
- Nothing is uploaded. The screenshot is read by code running in your browser. It never reaches us or anyone else.
How it works
- Take a screenshot of the game (the whole screen is fine).
- Paste it here, drop it on the box, or choose it from your photos.
- Check the board we read; tap a cell to fix anything that's off.
- Show the answer, or only the next step.

Questions
Is the solver free?
Yes. It is free, with no login and no app. Paste as many screenshots as you like; the page keeps the latest few (eight on a computer, four on a phone).
Is my screenshot uploaded anywhere?
No. Your browser reads the picture on your own device; nothing is sent to us or to anyone else, and nothing is kept after you close the page.
Why does it say the board is dimmed?
LinkedIn darkens the board while a hint is showing, which hides the colours. Close the hint, take the screenshot again and paste it.
What if it reads a cell wrong?
We mark every cell we're unsure of. Tap a cell on the redrawn board to change it, then solve again. If the board can't be solved, or has more than one solution as read, it tells you so. And if the answer doesn't fit your game, a cell was read wrong: compare the redrawn board with your screen.
Does it work halfway through a game?
Yes. Suns and moons you placed are read too. “Next step” starts from there and tells you first if one of your cells is wrong.
Can it tell the = and × signs apart?
Yes. Every sign is shown on the redrawn grid so you can check it before solving, and a tap on a sign spot changes it.
Is it the official LinkedIn tool?
No. It is an independent, free tool. Today's official grid is also on our Tango answer today page, with hints.
